Scenographer, Costume and Set designer for theatre, circus and dance productions, Marilène Bastien has worked on different dance projects with Chantal Caron, Estelle Clareton, Marie Chouinard, Lynda Gaudreau, Ginette Laurin, Manuel Roque and Ismaël Mouaraki. More recently, she participated in the conception and design of costumes and accessories for the different creations of the festival Montréal Complètement Cirque with Anthony Venisse and Peter James. She also designed the scenography and the costumes for Louise Bédard, for the Cie Manuel Roque’s new creation, as well as Ismaël Mouaraki’s latest creation Link(s).

Antoine Berthiaume is a guitarist and composer based in Montreal. He is specialized in improvisation, contemporary music and dance composition. He collaborated on projects with artists in contemporary dance, in particular Annie Gagnon, Thierry Huard, Aurélie Pédron, Ismaël Mouaraki, and others. He has participated in a dozen releases with prominent names in musical improvisation such as Guido del Fabro, Philippe Lauzier, Pierre-Yves Martel and many others with different labels (Ambiances Magnétiques, Audiogram, Vos Records (Japon), Incus Records (Angleterre), Starkland (US)). CALQ and CAC grantee, Berthiaume had the chance to perfect his skills in the Unites States and in Europe with Charlie Banacos, David Binney, Mordy Ferber, and others. More recently, he went on tour with the Cirque du Soleil for their last creation, Kurios. With a degree in Contemporary Composition, he is now pursuing a PhD in Electroacoustic Composition at the Université de Montréal.

Paul graduated from John Abbott College in the Professional Theatre Program, specializing in Design. Very quickly, he embarks on lighting design for theatre and dance productions. From 2008 until 2013, Paul works as Tangente's technical director. He also collaborates with Studio 303 teaching lighting design workshops for artists. He is currently enrolled part time at Concordia University in their Visual Art Program (specialization in Sculpture).

After studies in Visual Arts at the Cégep Joliette and Concordia University, Annie Gagnon turns to contemporary dance. She graduates in 2002 from the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal (EDCM), and presents her own choreographic creations in the Tangente festival (Si j’étais une de ces femmes 2002, La Marche Invisible 2010, Reviens vers moi le ventre en premier 2014), in the event Recommandation 63 organized by Normand Marcy, and in the Museum of Civilizations in Quebec City (Les femmes de la lune rouge 2013). She dances with prominent companies and choreographers, such as Pierre-Paul Savoie in Danse Lhasa Danse. Simultaneously, Annie collaborates as rehearsal director for multiple companies: O Vertigo, Estelle Clareton, Alan Lake, Aurélie Pedron, Emmanuelle Calvé and Destins Croisés.

Born in Toronto, trained in New York at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, and now based in Montréal, Merryn is a freelance dancer, teacher & rehearsal director. Along with her colleagues Roxane Duchesne-Roy and Susan Paulson, Merryn cofounded the unique project Le Broke Lab: a series of micro-laboratories of research, exploration and creation with artists from all disciplines. She is collaborating and performing with freelance choreographer Audrey Bergeron, with Lydia Bouchard on the show Le Monde est Fou, (Cirque du Soleil, 2015), and is proud to work as rehearsal director with Destins Croisés. Merryn performed and collaborated over six years with Cas Public (Hélène Blackburn), in addition to teaching the company while on tour and working briefly as rehearsal director. She has collaborated with Cirque Éloize and performed in a production by Robert Lepage/Ex-Machina (choreography by Johanne Madore). Merryn has also worked with American choreographers Peter London, Troy Powell and Takehiro Ueyama, Paris Opera’s Alexandre Proia, and New York-based Nai-Ni Chen Dance Company. On the administrative side, Merryn is an artistic advisor of Bad Posture Productions, a dance-film production company based in Berlin. We also see her featured in many of their films. With Springboard Danse Montréal, Merryn is the assistant to the artistic director Alexandra Wells, director of communications, and a member of the Board of Advisors. Merryn has had the pleasure of touring and collaborating in many countries including Canada, France, Germany, Holland, Japan, Korea, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, and the United States.

Angela Rassenti studied at the National Theatre School of Canada. Since 2008, she has been designing costumes and sets mostly for theatre and contemporary dance creations. More recently, she has worked as costume designer for Sarah Bild’s piece Plus Vrai with Danse Cité 2013, for Marie Béland’s creations Bleu Vert, Rouge et Vie and Mort de l’Élégance with the company Maribé sors de ce corps, and the scenography of Scrap for Mathieu Leroux with the Néos Futuristes at the Espace Libre.

Mickaël Spinnhirny graduated from the École supérieure de ballet du Québec in 2009. He soon joined Helen Blackburn’s dance company Cas Public, with whom he collaborated for two years. In 2011, Mickaël started working as Manager for the internet platform Québec Danse with the Regroupement Québecois de la danse (RQD), and in 2013 he returned to Cas Public as Communications and Development Manager and dancer in Symphonie Dramatique. Mickaël Spinnhirny is now Development Manager for the theater company Sibyllines and for the dance companies Cas Public, Système D and Destins Croisés.
