Ismaël Mouaraki composes an abstract, experimental, geometrical universe where the concept of cycles is morphed into a sensorial and corporeal experience. Enhanced by a digital, visual scenography, Link(s) opens up new choreographic horizons, neon trance, fluid, magnetic textures. Rooted in the essence of the movement and the marrow of contemporary and urban dances, the individualities and the bodies of the five performers collide, shatter, and merge into and over each other in the abstraction of the enclosed space. The movement is emancipated, the form is liberated, finally revealing the multiplicity of identities, vulnerable and powerful, public and private, calm and tortured, sane and twisted. Everything hinges on the perception of oneself and of the other.
