Great news! Ismaël Mouaraki is one of the three finalists of the Charles-Biddle Award 2020 in the regional component, along with Lénine Nankassa Boucal et Mariza Rosales Argonza.
The Charles-Biddle Award highlights the outstanding contribution of an individual who immigrated to Quebec and whose personal or professional engagement is contributing to Quebec’s cultural and artistic development.
Ismaël Mouaraki is a choreographer born in France, raised in Morocco and living in Canada for more than 15 years. He is internationally renowned. Through his creation and dissemination activities, he attaches great importance to community development and cultural and social inclusion. By surrounding himself with collaborators of diverse origins, backgrounds and practices, he ensures that he reaches a diversified audience.
